A Vision Born in Two Worlds
Our founder grew up between the ancient silk routes of Jiangnan and the ateliers of Europe. She witnessed how craftsmanship transcends borders — how a jade hairpin carved in Suzhou speaks the same language as a pearl necklace from Venice.

Elara — The Moon of Jupiter
Named after a mortal woman in Greek mythology, Elara shines not by reflecting the sun, but by possessing her own quiet luminosity. This is the woman we dress.

Suzhou Silk · 47 Years
Madam Chen
At 14, Chen Yuxia was pulled from school to work at the No. 1 Silk Factory. By 19, she could thread a loom blindfolded — 1,200 warp threads, zero errors. Today at 61, she is one of four remaining masters who can weave 22-momme mulberry silk on a traditional jacquard loom.

Liu Weidong learned filigree from his grandfather, who learned it from his. The technique — drawing 0.2mm gold wire and twisting it into lace-like patterns — was once reserved for imperial crowns. Liu spent eight years just learning to hold the tweezers correctly.

She hand-selects every hide, rejecting 60% for microscopic imperfections invisible to the untrained eye. Her edge-burnishing technique — 12 coats of beeswax, applied with agate stone — creates a seal that outlasts the leather itself.

Hand-wash in cold water with pH-neutral soap. Never wring — roll in a towel to absorb moisture. Dry flat, away from direct sun. Store folded, not hung.

How to Measure
Stand naturally. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, the narrowest part of your waist, and the widest part of your hips. Keep the tape parallel to the floor — no pulling tight.

Our silk pieces are cut with 2cm of ease for movement. If you prefer a closer fit, size down. Between sizes? Choose the larger — we offer complimentary alterations.

Ring Sizing
Fingers swell in heat and shrink in cold. Measure at room temperature, end of day. If between sizes, go larger — a tight ring is uncomfortable; a loose one can be adjusted.

Foot Measurement
Stand on a piece of paper. Mark the longest toe and the back of your heel. Measure the distance. Do this for both feet — use the larger measurement.
Leather Break-In
Our leather shoes are hand-lasted and will mold to your foot over 3-5 wears. If they feel slightly snug at first, this is correct. We include a leather stretcher with every pair.
